Litter Trays

There are a huge variety of litter trays available on the market but my favourites have got to be the self-cleaning ones.

Cats use a litter tray up to 4 or 5 times a day. Your cat’s litter tray can be difficult to keep clean, especially if you’re not at home all day. In fact, a dirty litter tray can actually encourage your cat to do their business elsewhere. Unlike other litter trays, LitterMaid always stays dry, clean and fresh all day, every day. No more scooping, no more constant clearing and no more lingering odours. Just peace of mind that you and your cat stay happy, clean and healthy.

This is how some of them work: The second your cat leaves the tray, the ionic air cleaner springs in to action getting rid of those nasty smells even before the clearing begins. After 10 minutes the rake begins to clear the clumps leaving a clean tray behind it. The rake cleverly opens the waste container, deposits the clumps, not forgetting to seal it on it’s way back. After about a week, remove the waste container, discard it and replace it. It’s that simple!

Of course, if you prefer the more traditional litter trays that you have to clean in the normal way, then there are plenty of those to choose from too.
