As a long term cat lover, starting with Sulieman the Magnificent (Suli) when I was about two years old up to the present menagerie of Gizmo (getting old and grumpy) and two bumptious kittens, Rafiki and Foe, I don't know how I could live without them!
As some wit once said "Dogs have masters, cats have servants." How true that is!

Cat grooming is not a subject that most cat owners give much thought to but as we all know, cats spend a great deal of their time licking their paws and rubbing them across their face or getting into unlikely positions in order to lick their backs, chests and other parts that we won't mention here. Collectively, this activity is known as grooming.

Although nearly everyone walks their dog, people rarely walk their cats. All the same, cats can learn to walk on a lead. As a matter of fact, there are collars, harnesses, and leads designed purely for cats.

Tips: Washing a Cat - Some How To Tips

Why on earth would anyone want to wash a cat? you may ask. It sounds like a situation fraught with danger! Well, surprisingly, cats can get just as dirty or flea infested as dogs and sometimes you have no choice but to either wipe them down with special wipes or to bathe them. Wiping is relatively easy but washing is not. A word of warning though, cats' fur contains special oils to protect and "waterproof" it so never wash your can more than once a month.
