I am in the Philadelphia area and currently unemployed and I would like to volunteer my time at an animal shelter. Walking dogs, cleaning cat kennels, answering phones- I’m not picky. However, the SPCA’s website makes volunteering seem like a huge commitment.

My last cat experience was not the best. One didn’t use the litter box, cat hair was everywhere, and they scratched up everything. I readily admit that much of this was my own fault.

I have 4 so Im not sure which one or two it is. I don’t stand there and watch them and sometimes my 3 older cats cover it for them.
